Egg Salad Recipe To Enjoy For Years
Egg salad is an easy meal to make and is best enjoyed as an egg salad sandwich. It might not be the best looking sandwich you ever had, but it will stimulate your tasete buds like no other. Egg salad is also great on top of a iceburg lettuce salad or as a side dish at a BBQ.
Ingredients For Egg Salad
- 8 hard boiled eggs
- 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons of dijon mustard. Other mustard works too!
- 1 teaspoon of paprika
- A pinch of salt and pepper
How To Prepare
Once the eggs are boiled, you will want to peel the shells off. Make sure to get every last piece off as you do not want a crunchy sandwich.
You will want to chop the eggs. It is best to hold the egg and cut lenthwise. Without letting go of the sliced egg, start slicing along the width of the egg. The smaller the pieces, the better. There are many ways to do this, but I shared my personal way.
Place the chopped eggs into a bowl with the mayonnaise, dijon mustard, paprika, and salt and pepper. You can use a wooden spoon or fork to mash and stir the ingredients all together. Continue mixing until there is a constant consistency.
Now you can spoon out the egg salad onto your favorite bread and enjoy your egg salad sandwich!
